454cid LSX Bowtie Stroker Short Block


Our TSP 454 cid LSx short-blocks offer the best durability for the best price possible! It comes from the factory with a 3.990" bore, and can be bored to a max of 4.250!" Our standard short-blocks come fully-assembled using an Eagle 4.100" stroke crankshaft, Scat H-beam 6.125" connecting rods with upgraded ARP 2000 rod bolts, and Diamond Racing or Wiseco 4.200" flat-top pistons with -3.8cc valve reliefs. The price listed also includes the LSx front cover & LSX cam retainer plate. We offer many upgrades for our short-blocks, and we will custom-build one for your application! We try to keep a few 454 cid LSx short-blocks in stock, and if you order one of our in-stock short-blocks it can ship as soon as the next business day! All short-blocks will be built using the 2005 and older 24x tooth reluctor wheel on the crankshaft. If you have a 2006+ vehicle that you will be installing our engine in you may need the updated 58x tooth reluctor wheel! BE SURE TO SPECIFY IF YOU NEED THE NEW RELUCTOR WHEEL WHEN ORDERING! You can also upgrade to include the LS2 conversion kit that will include the LS2 timing cover with camshaft position sensor, LS2 valley cover, LS2 lifter trays, LS2 timing set, and the necessary cam sensor and knock sensor harness extensions! This kit will be necessary to install any LSX-based engine into an LS1 vehicle.
